Staff Selection Commission The notification for the recruitment exam of Multi Tasking (Non Technical) Staff and Havildar Havildar (CBIC & CBN) has been released. Interested candidates can now apply on the official website The aim of this recruitment drive is to fill 8326 MTS and Havildar posts. The vacancies for MTS are 4887 and for Havildar (CBIC & CBN) are 3439. The last date to apply online is July 31, while the last date to make the online fee payment is August 1. The exam date has not been notified yet. However, as per the official notification, ssc mtsHavildar Recruitment Exam will be conducted in October or November.

SSC MTS, Havildar 2024: Step-by-Step Guide to Apply

Step 1: Visit the official website of SSC,
Step 2: Go to the Apply tab on the homepage and click on the Apply Online link to generate One Time Registration (OTR), if not done already.
Step 3: For OTR you have to provide the basic information like name, age, Aadhaar number, name, father’s name, date of birth and other details as shown on the page.
Step 4: On filling the personal details, you will receive the registration number and password on your registered email ID or phone number.
Step 5: Fill the application form with your registration number and password by paying the application fee of Rs 100. Female candidates and candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWBD/ESM categories are exempted from paying the examination fee.

SSC MTS, Havildar Exam 2024: Eligibility

To be eligible to apply for SSC MTS and Havildar posts, candidates must be Indian citizens and there are certain age requirements as well.
MTS: 18-25 Years
Constable: 18-27 years.
The minimum educational qualification to apply for these SSC exams is to have passed the Matriculation examination (or equivalent) from a recognized board.
The main points to remember are as follows:

  • You need to submit the certificate or mark sheet as proof that you have passed the 10th class (Matriculation) examination.
  • The education board that has issued your certificate must be recognized.
  • If you have appeared for 10th exam but are still waiting for your results, you can still apply but you must submit your certificates by the due date.
  • Distance learning courses are also acceptable, provided the institute is approved by the Distance Learning Bureau and the University Grants Commission.

SSC MTS, Havildar Recruitment 2024: Selection Process

The selection process for MTS consists of a Computer Based Examination (CBE) with two sessions: Session-I and Session-II. Candidates who qualify in Session-I will be allowed to proceed to Session-II.
For Havildar posts, the selection process includes these stages: Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) or Physical Standard Test (PST): Only candidates who qualify both CBE and PET/PST will be considered for Havildar post. However, if a candidate is eligible for MTS post but not Havildar, his application for MTS will still be valid.
