According to sources, the commission is considering printing each set of question papers separately for every exam. Several series of question papers will be prepared in each set and the questions in each series will have different serial numbers so that the possibility of cheating can be eliminated.
Earlier, the commission used to prepare question paper in four series and release series wise answer key after the preliminary examination. In the recently concluded Assistant Town Planner preliminary examination, the commission had for the first time implemented bar code system instead of series based system on the question paper.
UPPSC Examination Controller Harsh Dev Pandey said that if any candidate has any objection to the questions and answers issued, he will write the complete question in the prescribed format mentioning the serial number of the question in the issued question booklet and will also write his proposed answer as per the answer and representation issued by the Commission.
