TSPSC Group 1 prelims result 2024 declared at tspsc.gov.in: 31,382 candidates shortlisted for main exam; direct link – Times of India

TSPSC Group-I Prelims Result 2024: Telangana Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has declared the results of the Group-I Services Preliminary Examination. The announcement has been made after the examination held in 31 districts of Telangana on June 9, 2024. This examination, conducted in objective format, is an important step in the recruitment process for various Group-I services mentioned in Notification No. 02/2024, dated February 19, 2024.
Scanned copies of OMR answer sheets were made available to the candidates through their login accounts on June 24, 2024. After receipt and review of objections on the provisional answer key, a final key was prepared by the Subject Expert Committee. This final key was uploaded to the login accounts of the candidates on July 7, 2024.
Based on the results of the preliminary exam, 31,382 candidates have been provisionally selected for the main exam. The details of the shortlisted candidates have been posted on the TSPSC website.
The Commission has also addressed the shortage related to meritorious sportspersons. Candidates who have claimed sports reservation and represented India in international competitions will have to undergo further verification. Notifications for these candidates will be issued separately after verification of their Form-I submissions.
The Group-I main exam is scheduled from October 21, 2024, to October 27, 2024. Candidates can download their hall tickets one week before the exam.
TSPSC has also informed that the marks and cut-off marks of Group-I Services Preliminary Examination will be uploaded on the Commission’s website after the entire selection process is over and the final result is declared. Candidates are advised to visit the TSPSC website regularly for updates and further instructions.

TSPSC Group-I Main Exam: Marking Scheme
• Each paper is of 150 marks except the qualifying paper of General English.
• The main examination will have six papers carrying a total of 900 marks.
• The qualifying General English paper must be passed with minimum qualifying marks as specified by TSPSC.
• Answers must be written in the answer sheets provided and candidates must adhere to the word limit where specified.
