WSC invites applications for one-year training course

Bhubaneswar: World Skills Centre (WSC) Bhubaneswar is now accepting applications for one year Advanced Course Training Courses offered under theSchool of Engineering‘ (SOE) and ‘School of Services‘(SoS) is designed to equip students with cutting-edge skills and knowledge.
Students can apply online for the 2024-25 session and the last date for submission of applications is August 30. Candidates will be selected on the basis of an online entrance exam conducted by WSC. This initiative is a part of the Odisha Skill Development Authority (OSDA) under the Skill Development and Technical Education Department of the Odisha government.
The School of Engineering has started a new course in ‘Precision Engineering’.
The course includes modules such as engineering, drawing and inspection techniques, engineering process (turning), 3D CAD/CAM applications, CNC sheet metal fabrication and grinding. Apart from the new courses, the SoE also introduced courses in mechanical and electrical services, mechatronics, etc.
