Agniveer Recruitment Drive: Apply online for posts in Air Force from July 8

The Indian Air Force has announced the start of online registration for Agniveer recruitment from July 8 to July 28. The opportunity is open for unmarried male and female candidates from Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. According to Wing Commander SVG Reddy, Commanding Officer of Airmen Selection Centre Ambala, candidates can register on the official web portal From 11am on July 8 to 11pm on July 28.

eligibility criteria

To be eligible for Agniveer Recruitment, candidates must fulfil the following criteria:

  1. Age Requirement: Candidates should be born between 3rd July 2004 and 3rd January 2008.
  2. educational qualification:
  • Science subjects: Candidates must have passed class 12th with minimum 50% marks in aggregate including Mathematics, Physics and English and at least 50% marks in English.
  • Vocational Courses & Engineering: Candidates who have completed professional courses with 50% marks or three year Diploma in Engineering with 50% marks are also eligible.
  • other subjects: Candidates who have passed class 12th with subjects other than science must have at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

The selection process will consist of an online examination, which will begin from October 18 for all candidates who have applied within the prescribed registration period.

Wing Commander SVG Reddy stressed the importance of this recruitment drive and urged all eligible and interested youth to apply online. He said, “All the necessary information related to the recruitment process is available on the official website. We encourage all eligible candidates to take advantage of this opportunity and apply within the specified period.”
