CTET Admit Card 2024: CBSE CTET e-Admit Card for July session to be released soon

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the 19th edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on July 7, 2024. Before that, CBSE is expected to release the CTET Admit Card 2024 for the July session. CBSE CTET Admit Card will be available at https://ctet.nic.in/. Candidates can download the CTET July Admit Card by entering their application number and date of birth.

To enter the examination room/hall, the candidate will have to show the admit card downloaded from the official website of CTET. The candidate who does not have a valid admit card will not be allowed to appear in the examination under any circumstances by the center superintendent.

CTET Exam Timings for Paper-I, Paper-II

The exam will be conducted in twenty languages ​​in 136 cities across the country. Paper-2 will be conducted between 9:30 am to 12:00 pm; while Paper-1 will be conducted from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm. Paper I will be for the person who wants to become a teacher for classes I to V. Paper II will be for the person who wants to become a teacher for classes VI to VIII.

CTET Marking Scheme

All questions in CTET will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with four options out of which one answer will be the most appropriate. Each question will carry one mark and there will be no negative marking.

CTET Qualifying Marks

A person who scores 60% or more marks in the TET exam will be considered as having passed the TET.

CTET Reporting Time

Candidates must report at the examination centre at 7:30 am for Paper-II and at 12:00 pm for Paper-I, i.e. 120 minutes before the commencement of the examination. Candidates who report at the examination centre after 9:30 am for Paper-II and after 2:00 pm for Paper-I will not be allowed to appear in the examination.

Prohibited items that you cannot carry to the CTET exam centre

Candidates are not allowed to carry the following items inside the centre

  • Any stationery item like text material (printed or written), pieces of paper, geometry/pencil
    Box, Plastic Pouch, Calculator, Scale, Writing Pad, Pen Drive, Eraser, Calculator, Logtable, Electronic Pen/Scanner, Cardboard etc.
  • Any communication devices like mobile phone, Bluetooth, earphones, microphone, pager, health band etc.
  • Any watch/wristwatch, wallet, spectacles, handbags, gold/artificial jewellery etc.
  • Any other item which can be used for unfair means and to hide communication devices/gadgets like camera, bluetooth devices etc.
  • Tea, coffee, cold drinks or snacks are not allowed in the examination hall during the examination.

  • Download Admit Card: Two days before the exam
  • Exam Date: 07-07-2024 (Sunday)
  • Result declaration by the end of August 2024 (likely)
