CUET UG 2024: Results to be declared by July 10 at exams.nta.ac.in

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the provisional answer key of the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2024 this week. Applicants who appeared for the exam between May 15 and 29 can check and download the CUET UG answer key at exam.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG.

As per sources, the CUET UG result will be declared by July 10. Before the declaration of the results, candidates will get an opportunity to raise objections against the provisional answer key.


CUET UG 2024: Steps to Check

1. Visit the official website of CUET at exam.nta.ac.in.

2. On the homepage, open the CUET UG answer key link.

3. Enter your application number and date of birth on the login window.

4. View and download CUET UG result.


CUET UG 2024: Re-evaluation or re-checking of results

1) The results of CUET UG 2024 will be finalized based on the official answer key. No appeal regarding the answer key will be entertained after the result is declared.

2) The marks scored by the candidates will be used to calculate CUET UG 2024 results.

3) There will be no re-evaluation or re-checking of the results. No queries or requests regarding this matter will be entertained.


CUET UG Result 2024: Which Universities are Participating?

Apart from central universities, other institutes participating in CUET UG admission include state government universities, autonomous institutes, private universities, and deemed universities. More than 15 lakh applicants took the CUET UG 2024 exam this year.

The exam was conducted in 379 cities, including 26 cities outside India. About 13.48 lakh applicants took part in it. Apart from this, about 1.58 lakh candidates took seven test papers on May 29.


CUET UG Result 2024: Marking Scheme

For multiple choice questions, applicants must select one option corresponding to the correct or most appropriate answer. If any discrepancy or anomaly is found after the key verification process, the same will be resolved as follows:

1. Correct answer or most appropriate answer: Five marks (+5).

2. Marking any wrong option: Minus one mark (-1).

3. Unanswered/Marked for Review: No marks (0).

4. If more than one option is found correct, five marks (+5) will be awarded to the person who marks one of the correct options.

5. If all the options are found correct then all the students answering the question will be given five marks (+5).

6. If none of the options is found correct, or a question is found wrong, or a question is deleted: Five marks (+5) will be awarded to all the candidates who attempted the deleted question.


CUET and 2024: Insights

Amidst the ongoing discussions regarding NEET and NET examinations, CUET candidates are demanding the release of results and answer key from NTA.

More than 13.4 lakh students appeared in CUET and are eagerly waiting for their results. Different universities have started their registration process, but students are anxious about the postponed results.

The exam was conducted on May 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, 22, 24, and 29, 2024. This was the first time the exam was conducted in a hybrid mode, consisting of both computer-based tests (CBT) and pen-and-paper formats.
