Forum honors scholarship and grant recipients

INDIANAPOLIS – Forum Credit Union recently held its tenth annual Foundation Summer Reception at the Forum Events Center in Fishers, Indiana. The reception honored the Foundation’s teacher grant and collegiate scholarship recipients. This year, the Foundation honored fifteen teachers, seven new scholarship students and 20 prior year recipients who are renewing their scholarships.

following teachers Received grants in various amounts totaling $24,872 for his classes:
Melinda Anderson, Lowell Elementary School; Cassie Brooks, Brownsburg West Middle School; Courtney Chamberlin, North Elementary School; Molly Kaufman, New Britton Elementary School; Amanda Cornett, Fisher Junior High School; Lauren Graham, Lawrence Central High School; Karen Gropp, Deer Creek Elementary School; Lori Hippensteel, Hamilton Heights High School; Ashley Jones, Center Grove High School; Jared Mackey, Plainfield High School; Catherine McKinney, Bridgeport Elementary School; Andrea Knobe, Thompson Crossing Elementary School; Alisha Owens, Whiteland Community High School; Tabatha Ramsay, Heron High School; Beth VanSlyck, North Salem Elementary School.

Follow-up of students Received a $5,000 collegiate scholarship, which can be renewed for up to four years, for a total of $20,000 each:
Charlie Epstein, Westfield High School; Jillian Harris, Ben Davis High School; Sullivan Kolb, Fishers High School; Samuel Landers, Purdue University; Connor McIlvaine, Guerin Catholic High School; Peggy Merrill, Indiana University; Rachel Schwab, Pike High School.

Applications for teacher grants for the 2024/2025 school year are now open. Teachers in Marion and surrounding counties are encouraged to apply for classroom grants before September 1, 2024, and recipients will be announced by October 1, 2024. Applications for the Collegiate Scholarship will be available on October 1, 2024, and recipients will be announced in the spring of 2025. Teachers and students can apply online.
