NEET-UG 2024 re-exam result to be declared today: Check step-by-step guide to download result

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is scheduled to release the NEET UG re-exam results today, June 30, at exam.nta.ac.in. The re-exam, conducted on June 23 for 1563 affected candidates, will determine the next steps of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) to begin the counselling process.

This year, the UG medical entrance exam was held on May 5 for over 24 lakh candidates. During the exam, 1563 candidates were delayed due to wrong question papers being distributed at seven centres. Initially, the NTA had planned to give grace marks to compensate them, but the decision was later reversed.

During the hearing in the Supreme Court on grace marks and other issues related to the NEET UG exam, the Centre announced that the grace marks given to these candidates will be cancelled.

The affected students will get an opportunity to appear for the exam again. If they do not wish to do so, their original marks (without grace marks) will be considered final. Out of 1563 eligible candidates, only 813 appeared for the NEET re-exam.
