System Analyst/Programmer Online Application Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology from a local or foreign university recognized by the UGC of Sri Lanka with First Class or Second Division (Higher Division)
either
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology from a local or foreign university recognized by the UGC of Sri Lanka and minimum 2 years experience in Software Development / Quality Assurance / Database Administration / Information Security.
Network / Communication Engineer B.Sc Engineering degree in Telecommunication from a local or foreign university recognized by the UGC of Sri Lanka and 1 year experience in Network and Telecommunication sector
either
B.Sc Engineering Degree with Telecommunication as one of the subject obtained from local or foreign university, recognized by UGC of Sri Lanka and CCNA certification and 1 year experience in Network and Telecommunication sector
either
B.Sc degree from local or foreign university, recognized by UGC of Sri Lanka and CCNA certification and 2 years experience in Network and Telecommunication sector

eligibility criteria:

Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka

Qualification and Experience a) Degree with minimum Second Class Upper Division or Grade Point Average (GPA) with minimum 3.5 out of maximum 4.0 marks obtained from a local or foreign university recognized by the UGC of Sri Lanka. Out of the following subjects/subjects: Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting, Banking, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, Management (Public/Financial/Accounting/Business), Marketing, Human Resources, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, ICT, law, international trade, valuation, agriculture or any other subject relating to banking and finance

either

b) A degree with a Master’s or higher level of post-graduate qualification from a local or foreign university recognized by the University Grants Commission of Sri Lanka, in any of the subject/s mentioned in Para A.

either

c) An associate member of the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka (IBSL) or Chartered Institute of Bankers – UK (CIB), with minimum 01 year experience in executive level in a bank or reputed financial institution

either

d) an associate member with two (02) years of executive experience in a recognized institution with one of the following professional accounting bodies or, a degree from a local or foreign university recognized by the University Grants Commission of Sri Lanka, in any of the above in the subject/s mentioned in Para A with full qualification (passed finalist) of any one of the following:

  • Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (ICA-SL)
  • Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA-UK)
  • CFA Institute’s Chartered Financial Analyst Program (CFA-USA)
  • Chartered Institute of Management Accountants of the UK (CIMA-UK)
  • Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICA-EW)

Age Range:

30 years or less as on closing date

Terms & Conditions:

  • Training period two (02) years and monthly allowance of Rs. 75,000/- will be paid during the training period.
  • The post will be subject to the normal terms and conditions of service of the Bank in the General Banking Stream (Open Service).
  • Confirmation in the grade of Permanent Cadre Executive Officer, upon completion of the requirements during the training period, to the satisfaction of the Bank.
  • Expected to work beyond normal working hours and weekends/holidays
