CBSE Class 10 Syllabus 2022-2023: Board releases Rational Syllabus
CBSE has released the rationale syllabus for class 10 for the academic session 2022-2023. The board has cut the syllabus by removing many important subjects from social science and kept Punjabi language out of the regional languages.

CBSE Class 10 Syllabus 2022-2023: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the annual syllabus for class 10 for the academic year 2022-23. The board has released the rationalized syllabus. It has cut the syllabus by 30% by removing some famous chapters and topics from the major subjects. Another big and controversial move of the board is to exclude Punjabi language while all other regional languages have been kept in the new syllabus.
Democracy and Diversity, Mughal Durbar, and Poems of Faiz Ahmed Faiz from the syllabus are prominent among the topics removed from CBSE Class 10 Syllabus 2022-23.a bus. Chapters on the Popular Struggle Movement and the Challenges of Democracy have also been removed.
When asked about these changes, the board said its decision to reduce the syllabus is in line with the recommendations of the National Council of Educational Research and Training. However, the officials have not commented on the exclusion of Punjabi language from the syllabus.
