UPPSC PCS Prelims GS Paper-1 2022 Exam Analysis: Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has conducted the UPPSC PCS Prelims GS Paper-1 exam today in various cities i.e. 12th June 2022. This year UPPSC announced more than 250 vacancies for PCS and ACF/RFO. The total number of vacancies for the Combined State Services Examination is around 250 and the demand for the post of ACF/RFO is yet to be received. UPPSC PCS Prelims GS Paper-I 2022 Exam Pattern

There will be two papers in the UPPSC PCS and ACF/RFO 2022 prelims exam: Paper-1 and Paper-2. This examination is only for short-listing candidates on the basis of marks obtained by them in the subject of General Studies (Paper-I), provided the candidate has secured 33% marks in Paper-II:

  • It is mandatory for the candidates to appear in both the papers of the preliminary examination for the purpose of evaluation. Hence a candidate will be disqualified if he/she does not appear in both the papers.
  • The merit of the candidates will be determined on the basis of marks obtained in Paper-I of Preliminary Examination.

Important Points to Remember After UPPSC PCS Preliminary Exam 2022

Based on the result of the preliminary examination, candidates fifteen times the number of vacancies will be declared successful for the main examination and candidates three times the number of vacancies will be called for interview.

UPPSC PCS Main Exam: Candidates who will qualify for PCS and ACF/RFO Prelims Exam will be called for Main Exam. The marks of the main examination will be considered for the final selection of the candidates. The UPPSC Mains exam consists of eight papers which are descriptive in nature. UPPSC Mains exam is a qualifying-deciding round, it carries a huge weightage as it is of 1500 marks.

UPPSC PCS Interview Round: Candidates who qualify the main exam will be called for Personnel Interview. The interview will be of 100 marks. The candidates are interviewed by the board appointed by the UPPSC.
