Indian Coast Guard Navik Mechanic Age Limit:

✔️ Minimum 18 Years and Maximum 22 Years.
✔️ Born between 01 May 2001 to 30 April 2005 (both dates inclusive).
✔️ Age Relaxation – 05 years for SC/ ST and 03 years for OBC (Non Creamy) candidates.

Indian Coast Guard Navik Mechanical Pay Scale & Other Benefits:

✔️ Navik (General Duty): Basic Pay of ₹ 21700/- (Pay Level-3) plus Dearness Allowance and other allowances depending upon the nature of duty/place of posting as per extant rules.
✔️ Navik (Domestic Branch): The basic pay scale for Navik (DB) is ₹ 21700/- (Pay Level-3), along with Dearness Allowance and other allowances depending on the nature of duty/posting as per prevailing regulation.
✔️ Mechanical: Basic Pay ₹29200/- (Pay Level-5). In addition, you will be paid Mechanical Pay @ 6200/- plus Dearness Allowance and other allowances depending on the nature of duty/place of posting as per prevailing regulation.

Indian Coast Guard Navik Mechanical Eligibility Criteria:

✔️ Navik (General Duty): Passed 10+2 with Mathematics and Physics from a Board of Education recognized by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
✔️ Navik (Domestic Branch): Passed 10th class from Board of Education recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
✔️ Yantrik: 10th class pass from a Board of Education recognized by the Board of School Education (COBSE) and Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics / Telecommunication (Radio / Power) Engineering approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Indian Coast Guard Navik Mechanical Medical Standards:

✔️ Medical examination will be conducted by authorized military doctors as per the medical standard prescribed in the extant rules applicable to personnel enrolled on entry.
✔️ Height: The minimum height is 157 cms. The reduction in height for the candidates belonging to hilly areas and tribal areas will be as per the Central Govt. Order.
✔️ Chest: Should be well proportioned. Minimum expansion 5 cms.
✔️ Weight: +10 percent acceptable in proportion to height and age.
✔️ Hearing: Normal.
✔️ Visual Standards: 6/36 (better eye) and 6/36 (worse eye).
✔️ Tattoos: Permanent tattoos are not allowed on any part of the body.

Indian Coast Guard Navik Yantrik Selection Process:

✔️ Stage I: Computer Based Online Examination.
✔️ Phase II: Physical Fitness Test, Document Verification, Re-evaluation of inconsistent performers, Preliminary Medical Examination.
✔️ Phase III: Document Verification, Final Medical at INS Chilka.
✔️ STEP IV: Candidates have to submit all original documents and all original documents will be verified by Indian Coast Guard through Boards/Universities/State Govt.

Indian Coast Guard Exam Fee:

✔️ ₹250/- for General/OBC category candidates.
✔️ No fee for SC/ ST category candidates.
✔️ Fee done through online mode using Net Banking or by using Visa / Master / Maestro / Rupay Credit / Debit Card / UPI.

Eligible candidates may apply Online only through the official website of Indian Coast Guard (joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in) from 8 September 2022.
Candidates have to upload the documents in two stages. Some documents (photo, signature, left hand thumb impression image, date of birth proof, identity proof etc) are required in the online application stage and some need to be uploaded if shortlisted for stage II.

I Indian Coast Guard Recruitment Eligibility Criteria:

✔️ General Duty (GD) / (Pilot / Navigator): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 60% marks. 10+2+3 Intermediate of the scheme of education or Mathematics and Physics as subjects up to class XII or equivalent with minimum 55% marks in each subject.

✔️ General Duty (GD) (Female SSA): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 60% marks. 10+2+3 Intermediate of the scheme of education or Mathematics and Physics as subjects up to class XII or equivalent with minimum 55% marks in each subject.

✔️ Commercial Pilot License (SSA): Must have passed 12th class or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics subjects and must have secured minimum 55% marks in each subject (i.e. Physics 55% and Mathematics 55%). Candidates who have completed Diploma are also eligible provided they have 55% marks in aggregate in Diploma with Physics and Mathematics in the course. Should have a current Commercial Pilot License issued/recognized by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation as on the date of submission of application.

✔️ Technical (Mechanical): Engineering degree from recognized university with minimum 60% aggregate marks in Naval Architecture or Mechanical or Marine or Automotive or Mechatronics or Industrial and Production or Metallurgy or Design or Aeronautical or Aerospace. (or) equivalent qualification in any of the above disciplines recognized by the Institute of Engineers (India), which is exempted from clauses ‘A’ and ‘B’ and their Associate Membership Examination (AMIE).

✔️ Technical (Electrical/Electronics): Engineering Degree of recognized University with minimum 60% aggregate marks in Electrical or Electronics or Telecommunication or Instrumentation or Instrumentation and Control or Electronics and Communication or Power Engineering or Power Electronics. (or) equivalent qualification in any of the above disciplines recognized by the Institute of Engineers (India), which is exempted from clauses ‘A’ and ‘B’ and their Associate Membership Examination (AMIE).

✔️ Law Entry: Degree in Law from a recognized University with minimum 60% aggregate marks.
