ITBP Staff Nurse Selection Process:

ITBP Sub Inspector Staff Nurse Recruitment will be completed based on this following selection criteria;

  • Phase 1,
    • Physical Efficiency Test (PET),
    • Physical Standards’ Rest (PST),
  • Phase II,
  • Phase – III,
    • Document Verification / Practical Test
    • merit list,
  • Phase – IV,
    • Detailed Medical Examination (DME) / Review Medical Examination (RME).

ITBP Staff Nurse PET/PST Physical Test:

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

for male candidates Time
100 meter run To be completed in 16 seconds.
1.6 km run To be completed within 7.30 minutes.
for female candidates Time
100 meter run To be completed in 18 seconds.
800 meter race To be completed within 4.45 minutes

No marks will be awarded for this test and will be of qualifying nature only. Those who do not qualify will be eliminated at this stage itself.

Physical Standard Test (PST)

  • weight : Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.

About ITBP Staff Nurse Written Exam:

ITBP Staff Nurse Exam Pattern,

The exam pattern will be as follows:

  • The written test will consist of OMR based or computer based objective type multiple choice questions.
  • The question paper will be set bilingually in Hindi and English.
  • The question paper will be of 100 marks/ questions.
  • The questions in the written exam will be of class 10th.
  • The time duration of the exam will be 02 hours (120 minutes)
  • The pattern of question paper will be as follows:-

ITBP Staff Nurse Exam Syllabus:

general awareness:- The questions in this component will be aimed at testing the candidates’ general awareness of the environment around them. The questions will also be designed to test the knowledge of current events and such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of an educated person. The test will also include questions related to India and its neighboring countries, especially questions related to sports, history, culture, geography, economic scene, general polity, Indian constitution, scientific research etc. These questions will be such that they do not require special study. of any discipline.

Numerical Ability: The test of Arithmetic and Numerical Ability will include Simplification, Decimal, Fraction, LCM, HCF, Ratio and Ratio, Percentage, Average, Profit and Loss, Discount, Simple and Compound Interest, Mensuration, Time and Work, Number System with Questions on Time . and distances, tables and graphs, etc.

General Intelligence and Reasoning :- This component may include questions on ranking and order, blood relations, similarities, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relational concepts, arithmetic reasoning and fig classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series can. coding and decoding, etc.

English : Verbs, Prepositions, Adverbs, Subject Verb Agreement, Error Correction/Recognition, Tenses, Sentence Rearrangement, Fill in the Blanks with Articles etc., Comprehension, Unseen Passages, Vocabulary, Synonyms and Antonyms Usage, Vocabulary and Grammar, Based on Proficiency Answering questions in language.

ITBP Sub Inspector Staff Nurse Documentation & Practical Exam:

Verification of Original Documents:

Before appearing in the medical test candidates need to verify all the required documents for verification. Self attested originals of the following documents will be required for verification;

  • education certificate
  • Profession certificate.
  • Experience certificate, as the case may be.
  • Date of Birth Certificate (Matriculation or 10th class certificate).
  • caste certificate.
  • no objection certificate.
  • Reservation Certificate.
  • Domicile Certificate.
  • Discharge Certificate in case of Ex-Servicemen.
  • Four latest passport size photographs.

Practical Exam:

The candidates who qualify in the documentation stage will be allowed to appear in the practical test. The practical exam will be conducted in the government hospital.

Comment : The minimum percentage of marks to qualify in the practical examination will be 50% for all categories and it will be qualifying in nature.

About ITBP Staff Nurse Merit List:

After the completion of practical examination, merit list will be prepared in each category i.e. General, SC, ST, OBC (NCL) and Ex-Servicemen on the basis of aggregate marks obtained by the candidates in the written examination.

ITBP Staff Nurse Detailed Medical Exam:

The candidates shortlisted in the order of merit as per the category wise number of vacancies will be put through DME to assess their fitness as per the medical policy issued by MHA.

If the candidate declared unfit in the detailed medical examination is not satisfied with the findings of the Medical Officer, he/she may submit his/her application for re-medical examination along with the duly filled medical health certificate within 15 days from the date of his/her re-medical examination. can do.
