About SBI Circle Based Officer Exam:

SBI Circle Based Officer Written Exam Will be Held 4 December 2022 (Tentative) at the prescribed examination centres. The exact date, timing, scheme will be notified soon on their official website.

SBI SBO Exam Pattern Details:

Objective Type Test:

The SBI Circle Based Officer Objective Type Exam Pattern for the written exam is as follows:-

• The exam will be conducted objective type.
• will be in the form of questions MCQ.
• there will be 4 volumes in this exam.
• The total number of questions in this exam will be 120 questions.
• The maximum marks for this exam will be 120 marks.

• The time allotted for this exam will be 2 hours.

Descriptive type test:

The SBI Circle Based Officer Descriptive Type Exam Pattern for the written exam is as follows:-

• descriptive test will be 50 marks.
• will have two questions 50 marks.
• The time duration of the descriptive test will be given 30 minutes.
• Test will be conducted only in English language.

The SBI Circle Based Officer detailed syllabus for the objective type exam is as follows:-

Mainly focus on topics like Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Error, Sentence Correction, Fill in the blanks, Sentence Arrangement/Word Arrangement, Comprehension and Cloze Test may not be any of these mentioned topics etc. Understanding will be long.

All applicants must read Daily Current Affairs in this section. And also give time to Static General Awareness as questions will be asked from both the subjects in this section. You can check the chapters from the list given below:

General Awareness / Economy

Questions will be asked from Indian Current Events, Banking, General Science, General Knowledge. Mainly the focus will be on national and international news, important dates, current science, technology, sports and culture and banking sector current affairs. Marketing questions will also be in sufficient quantity to test your knowledge. Important topics of SBI PO General Awareness are:

computer aptitude

Basic of Computer, Computer Organization, Generation of Computer, Input and Output Devices, Shortcuts and Basic Knowledge MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, Memory Orientation, Internet, LAN, WAN, Modem, Computer Abbreviations, Modern day Technology.

screening test :

The online applications and documents of the shortlisted candidates on the basis of performance in the online examination will be placed before the Screening Committee. The Screening Committee constituted by the Bank will examine whether the candidates fulfill the required eligibility criteria for experience. Candidates fulfilling the required experience as decided by the Screening Committee will be called for interview.

Interview ,

The interview will be of 50 marks. Candidates will have to obtain minimum qualifying marks in the interview to be considered for final selection. The minimum qualifying marks will be decided by the bank.

Final Selection:

Candidates will have to qualify separately in both Online Test and Interview. The marks obtained in the Online Test in both the Objective Test and the Descriptive Test will be added to the marks obtained in the Interview to prepare the final merit list.

Final Merit List:

Final merit list will be prepared on the basis of normalization of marks obtained in Online Test and Interview with 75:25 weightage respectively.

The marks obtained by the candidates in the online test (out of 170 marks) are converted into out of 75 marks and the interview marks (out of 50 marks) of the candidates are converted into out of 25 marks. The final merit list (division wise and category wise) is prepared after aggregating the converted marks (out of 100) of Online Test and Interview. The selection will be done from among the top ranked candidates in the merit list prepared division wise and category wise.
