Physical Efficiency Test (PET) :-
Physical Efficiency Test PST will be of total 100 marks. Minimum 50 marks must be obtained by the candidates to qualify. If the candidate obtains less than 50% marks in any of the following items, he/she will be considered ineligible:

Written exam :-
Exam Pattern , The scheme of Uttarakhand Police Constable written exam will be as follows:
The written test will be multiple choice objective type.
There will be a composite paper of the total 100 marks.
General Knowledge and Hindi language will carry 70 and 30 marks respectively.
01 mark will be awarded for each correct answer and 0.25 marks were deducted for each wrong answer.

Common Sense , History, Geography and Socioeconomic Development of Uttarakhand and India. Knowledge of current events of national and international importance and such things of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspects as can be expected of an educated person who has not made a special study of any scientific subject. The paper will also include questions on Modern History of India, Indian Culture, Indian Polity, Indian Economy, Geography of India.
HIndi language : Apart from testing the candidate’s understanding and comprehension of Hindi language, questions on its vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms and its correct usage etc. will also be included.
